TAKDA started as a simple family ministry and has grown into a mission fellowship. Friends, friends of friends, friends of friends of friends ! Definitely not random but God-ordained. The LORD has blessed us with people with same heart for missions.
Onayd and Arlene are self-supporting missionaries.
Arlene is a doctor of Optometry but landed in the corporate world specializing in project management and process improvement. She is also a certified instructor of PraiseMoves.
Onayd is a graduate of Philippine Baptist Theological Seminary , he also studied at Febias College of Bible and Asian Theological Seminary.

Nenita Nantes (Community Coordinator)
Nenita or ate Nitz is our ever faithful coordinator in the community and also serves as the library custodian.
Nitz is a tireless servant going up to the remote areas to hand out food and other help to assist the needy. And she does not leave each home without sharing her faith in Jesus.

They are not first-timers but Takda returnees . They come back because they are intentional in leading the people to grow in Christlikeness
Our weekend missionaries have also inspired their friends to serve in Takda.
