This ministry started in 2009 with outreach programs in different locations\u00a0<\/span>. Realizing that we can have a stronger and quality impact if we focus on a single community, we prayed for God\u2019s direction .\u00a0 We were led to a small village in the Bicol region.<\/span><\/p>\n To begin, we asked ourselves \u201cwhat do they need?\u00a0 Surely ,like any other poor communities, many would expect a meal from a helping group or church.\u00a0 But we want to give beyond the rice for the day , a decent life- a better future by helping their children in their school needs and providing for them a conducive place to do their\u00a0<\/span>homework<\/span><\/em>, in Filipino \u201ctakdang-aralin\u201d .<\/p>\n So the first major project was a\u00a0<\/span>Library<\/em>\u00a0<\/span>\u2013 a quiet place where they can study and\u00a0 do their takdang-aralin\u2026hence the name\u00a0<\/span>Takdang Aralan\u00a0<\/span><\/em>community library.<\/em>\u00a0 With the help of some friends, books and\u00a0 a set of old computer-printer served the students\u2019 need for their school requirements.\u00a0 A pre-paid broadband\u00a0 internet connection somehow enabled them to do some basic research work.\u00a0 ( Sadly, at the end of 2022 the computer and broadband are no longer working).<\/strong><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” background_color=”#FFFFFF” width_tablet=”” width_phone=”100%” width_last_edited=”on|phone” max_width_tablet=”” max_width_phone=”” max_width_last_edited=”on|phone” custom_padding=”|3%|3%|3%|false|true” border_width_right=”1px” border_width_left=”1px” border_width_right_tablet=”” border_width_right_phone=”0px” border_width_right_last_edited=”on|phone” border_width_left_tablet=”” border_width_left_phone=”0px” border_width_left_last_edited=”on|phone” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.21.0″ _module_preset=”default” text_font=”Poppins||||||||” text_text_color=”#000000″ text_font_size=”16px” text_font_size_tablet=”” text_font_size_phone=”14px” text_font_size_last_edited=”on|phone” global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n Takdang Aralan <\/strong>library also served as a center for the youth\u00a0 .\u00a0 We introduced more activities as years go by;\u00a0\u00a0Sports Camp<\/em>\u00a0(football, table tennis, basketball) ,\u00a0Music lessons<\/em>\u00a0, and\u00a0Theater Arts<\/em>.<\/p>\n Along with every activity and projects\u00a0 is the Word of God.\u00a0 Seeds are planted in the hearts of children, youth , and parents .\u00a0 \u00a0The community has embraced us and the people are ready for harvest\u2026there\u2019s a strong drive in our hearts to disciple them.\u00a0 On April 30,\u00a0 2023\u00a0 we have formally gathered as a church on a Sunday worship service.<\/p>\n From a library into an active and intentional discipling group ..the\u00a0<\/span>Takda Missions & Fellowship<\/strong><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Welcome to Takda Missions and FellowshipThis ministry started in 2009 with outreach programs in different locations\u00a0.
